My Story
Henrik Andersen was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and developed his signature sound by uniting Western music styles with South Indian konnakol. As the first to share konnakol tutorials online over30 years ago, he has inspired students and musicians across the globe.
Henrik has released award-winning albums, composed music for orchestra, stage, and film, and collaborated with leading artists such as: Trilok Gurtu, Pete Lockett, Ranjit Barot, Gumbi Ortiz, and Mandolin Rajesh.
Henrik regularly performs and teaches worldwide, focusing on rhythm, creativity, and musical curiosity.
